In Warsaw's Targówek there is a modern Wilno estate consisting of low blocks decorated with murals. Greenery, playgrounds and a train station reaching the center of Warsaw make this location to live, often chosen by families with children. It is in one such block that there is an apartment for a married couple with two children, designed by architects from the Decoroom studio.
The 95-square-meter apartment consists of a living room with a kitchen, three bedrooms - two designed for children - and two bathrooms. Already from the threshold we are greeted by a large mirror in a golden frame, which, combined with lighting in the same color, announces the style of the entire apartment. Architect Ewa Dziurska, designing the space, created bright, cozy interiors, decorated with gold accents like an intertwining ribbon.

Relaxing in golden velours
The living room is accessed by a floor finished in dark planking with a slight golden glow, which goes into the wall. The wooden planks lend coziness and create a decorative touch to the interior, while visually lengthening and widening it. The wooden wall is also the backdrop for the TV and the cabinet made according to a design by Katarzyna Domanska of Decoroom Kitchen. Windows occupying the entire wall provide good light to the interior. A comfortable seating set consists of a velour sofa, an adjacent armchair and two small poufs with tassels - all in a golden shade. The rectangular coffee table, in the spirit of zero waste, was made from leftover, stone kitchen countertop, and the round dining table creates a conventional boundary between the living room and kitchen zones.

White with a touch of gold
White and simple in expression, the kitchen is a design by Katarzyna Domanska. Minimalist cabinetry provides the perfect backdrop for gold accessories. A gold panel in the working belt like, a ribbon wraps around the space. The colorful handles and lamps, as well as the stone countertop with gilding, tie everything into a coherent whole. The designer made sure that the built-in cabinets have plenty of roomy cabinets and drawers for storage.

pastel tranquility
The bedroom part of the apartment is a slightly different story - pastel elegance prevails here. Unlike in other rooms, gold is only found in accessories such as a mirror or a vase. Opposite the upholstered bed finished in velvet in a shade of powder pink, there is a dressing table occupying the entire width of the wall. The light metal frame is a delicate finish that does not overload the interior. The half-circle mirror panel creates an ideal place for daily makeup and evening grooming.

two, golden bathrooms
There are two bathrooms in the apartment and both, obviously, are united by a gold color. In the smaller, guest one, the wall behind the toilet, as well as the cabinet, were designed in this color. Gold panels and a large mirror reflect the light, thus optically enlarging the interior. The rectangular washbasin was set on a long countertop without a rack. Despite the small size of the interior, a shower cubicle with doors that open both inward and outward also fit here. The larger bathroom, with a bathtub, is kept in light tones. Here only the delicate, decorative laths, cabinet handles and the frame of the oval mirror, the shape of which breaks the straight lines that dominate the interior, are golden. To optically enlarge the space, a mirror reaching from the floor to the ceiling was placed on one of the walls.
