The trapezoid-shaped plot and the nearby flood embankment determined the unusual shape of the single-family Triangle House, designed by architects from the 81.WAW.PL studio in Warsaw.

The leitmotif of the project became a rhythmic triangular module finished with an openwork structure made of steel cable. Surrounding the house on the edges of the facade, the white frames on the side of the plot act as a terrace canopy, and on the other side - parking spaces. Into this triangular form is inscribed a one-story, two-part building in the form of a contemporary barn.
The triangles that appeared in the facade are a hidden sliding gate, leading to the parking spaces. In a way, it is a structural element for the entire frame. We chose the triangles because they refer to the sharp angle that created the shape of the plot. Interestingly, we used nautical lines in them, which refer to the investor's passion. The steel structure gives the building lightness, at the same time enclosing the building and creating a characteristic openwork partition," says Rafał Grudziąż, architect of the 81.WAW.PL studio.

In addition to the characteristic sliding gate, the entrance to the plot is enclosed by a decidedly less impressive fence.
Both on the facade and on the terrace and around the pool, wood was used - Scandinavian Thermora pine, which, thanks to its high resistance and durability, does not require painting.
Thelayout of the rooms throughout the house has been thought out so that the living and bedroom areas open up to the garden, while the rooms that require less privacy face the entrance to the plot, and the windows in this part remain in the standard position.

An interesting solution is the characteristic "twisting" of the windows at an angle so that they show the nicest views on the plot. All windows on the embankment side face west-south. The facade is highly modular. Each of the windows can be opened, and thanks to the distinctive layout, mini terraces could appear next to them. The whole is made of wood - the floor, ceiling and walls," says architect Anna Paszkowska-Grudziąż.

The main entrance leads to a walk-in closet, further either to the pantry or to the main hall, from which you can go directly to the large living room connected to the spacious dining room and kitchen. The house also includes a study combined with a home gym, an independent bathroom and sauna, children's rooms and a master bedroom. The corridor is illuminated by a skylight placed in the roof.
