Security and stability of the smart home system are a key concern for Nice. The protection against hackers is encrypted data transmission (both in local and external connections). At the same time, the use of high-quality components gives the control panel the ability to operate only locally and, in the absence of access to the cloud, provide key home functionality. Thus, there is no risk that the system will stop working when the network operator decides to disconnect the Internet to, for example, perform link maintenance. In development projects, where the customer does not yet have access to a WiFi network, defined automations (e.g. detecting motion, flooding, lowering blinds, turning lights on/off, etc.) will work. Once the Internet is connected, the system will also be manageable from anywhere on earth. User data and access to their homes are protected at the highest level by WAF and Anti-DoS systems, as well as encryption of communications using TLS protocol, and passwords via bcrypt.
