New trends in design and interior architecture

25 of October '19

As every year, in September, interior design studios and editorial offices of larger and smaller magazines devoted to this subject empty. This is because we all meet at the Parisian fair "Maison&Objet" ("House & Object") to observe the freshest trends, materials, interior design novelties, to identify those yet unknown "pearls of design". We invite you to a set of a few isolated trends, selected from a huge offer - more than three thousand companies advertising.

Illuminate

Ay illuminate

The company's motto is "We believe that local craftsmanship carries the genes of cultural identification." The Dutch brand has been producing its lamps in many African and Asian countries for years, and its delicate, ethereal products are characterized by the naturalness of the material and color palette.
TREND ALERT: ethno, naturalness of materials and colors, plaids.

Scarlette Ateliers

Scarlette Ateliers

The company's young founder, from the Picardy region of northern France, Pauline Bijvoet, is extremely deft with colorful prints. Her timeless retro: stripes and checks or slightly ethnic patterns inspired by her multiple trips to India are the epitome of good taste
and excellent craftsmanship (again, like Ay Illuminate, many products are woven
and finished by hand) without falling into folklore.
TREND ALERT: softness of material and attention to finish, retro, print.

Le monde sauvage by Beatrice Laval

Le monde sauvage by Béatrice Laval

Controlled madness? Oh yes! Daring design and bold combinations of prints, textures and colors are the hallmarks of Béatrice Laval, who has successfully "dusted off" the proposals of the Parisian home decor company founded by her parents for a few years now. A real hit are the creator's proposed highly graphic wallpapers and densely quilted plaids.
TREND ALERT: ethno, bold combinations of strong graphics and color, natural fabrics - linen.

Aromas del Campo

Aromas del Campo

Lamps exposing light bulbs still do not go out of fashion. Lamps from Spanish manufacturer Aromas del Campo combine many trends: subdued, cozy light, geometric form, never going out of fashion
out of fashion black, plaids. The advantage is also a wide range of composition possibilities.
TREND ALERT: simple geometric forms, multi-element light composition, plaid, black, graphic patterns.

Revol

Revol

Revol is another case of a great marriage of tradition and modern design. The porcelain manufactory, which has existed in France since 1768, has been inviting young and very talented designers for the past two years, boldly departing from the traditional forms proposed so far. Of particular note are the Caractère series (designer: Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance)
and - visible in the photo - Pekoë (designer: Lucas Frank).
TREND ALERT: matte color, black, pleating, delicacy and nobility of material, refined simplicity of form.

Ethnicraft

Ethnicraft

For years, the Belgian company Ethnicraft has excelled in combining the latest trends, natural materials and high quality workmanship in its proposals. The photo below is a compilation of many trends, details here:
TREND ALERT: uncolored, solid wood; sculptural treatment of a furniture element (door), naturally refined design, woven sconce cover.
