Silesian University of Technology is inviting the public to celebrate its anniversary together. On the occasion of the 75th anniversary celebration, it has organized a poster contest referring to the history and reflecting the character of the university.
Upper Silesia's oldest technical university, one of ten research universities in Poland, is celebrating its 75th anniversary. To mark the occasion, the university is inviting visual artists, graphic designers and art school students from Poland and abroad to take part in a competition for a "Poster of the 75th Anniversary of the Silesian University of Technology."

The work should refer to the history of the university, define its character and assets, the potential of its students and scientists, its focus on modern technologies, cooperation with the economic environment, as well as its convenient location for science in the heart of the rapidly developing Silesian agglomeration. The jury will select the twenty best works, which will be presented at a post-competition exhibition. Attractive cash prizes await the winners of the competition, and the winning poster will be used for promotional purposes of the university.
