A spooky couch, too big for the room it's in, color-matching blinds and cushions on the chairs. Sound uninteresting? It can often be much worse. Rental apartments are most often "decorated" with accessories from one store - a hypermarket builder, to the taste of not-knowing-who. Laas Studio decided to answer the cry for interesting interiors for rent.
The architects from {tag:Studio} design between Warsaw and Berlin. Their trademark is minimalism with the use of original and original accessories. In the German capital they faced the challenge of creating apartments for rent, where everyone will want to be. Such a statement is not an exaggeration. Exactly with this thought the designers shaped the spaces.
In a post-war apartment of more than 100 m², Malgorzata Czajkowska and Dagna Badowska created two smaller, almost mirror-like reflections. Despite the fact that you will find here almost only things of basic needs - bed, table, chairs, kitchen cabinets - it is hard to take your eyes off them. This is caused by small solutions - an arch in the entrance to the living room, stone elements in the hall, but also under the windows, as well as hidden cabinets, or doors to the bathroom. All this creates the conditions for letting your creativity run wild. Laas Studio has created a base, which the landlord can freely develop or continue its original idea.

Basia Hyjek: What was the main inspiration for creating these interiors?
Malgorzata Czajkowska: The apartment was bought for rental purposes. Since it had windows on both sides, we thought it was possible to divide it into two smaller ones. And so it stayed that way, the client approved the idea and then construction work began.
Basia: What was the biggest challenge?
Margaret: In terms of challenges, it was routing all the installations to both apartments. On the other hand, a couple of years of experience of designers and a reliable construction team always manage :)
Basia: Where did the idea for such a combination of materials come from?
Malgorzata: Since this is a short-term rental apartment, it should have a fairly neutral style that will appeal to everyone, as well as original enough to catch the eye of a potential client. The apartment is decorated minimalistically so that anyone moving in can customize the space to suit themselves.
