The workshop of the modern architect has evolved considerably in recent years. Today it is difficult to imagine designing without the support of digital tools. The pre-processing of the architect's and his team's vision begins at the stage of creating 2D drawings and skeletal models. The next steps are 3D modeling, or visualizations. This is the most impressive application of the software, as it allows the investor to preview the architect's vision, but it is also effective for the designer himself, as it allows, for example, to observe the behavior of lighting on a spatial block and make necessary corrections to the design.
Undoubtedly, the revolution of recent years is the integration of all branches of the implementation already at the stage of digital design, that is, object-oriented design BIM. This allows not only the very precise creation of implementation plans, but, above all, the calculation of the different variants of materials used, their prices and the overall efficiency of the project in light of sustainable construction.
