Habitat
In recent months there has been an increased public debate about housing in Poland. We already know that the "Housing Plus" program has not worked as the government expected. What is important, however, is that the topic of the right to housing has returned to the public forum and is unlikely to disappear from it soon.
In this issue we present mainly multi-family social housing architecture. We wanted to look mainly at this issue and try to transfer good examples to Poland. Because good architecture does not have to be expensive. Instead, it can be both functional and aesthetically interesting. Anyway, study it yourselves.
We also publish an excerpt from Agata Twardoch's book "A System for Housing" and an interview with the author. Housing availability is the most pressing problem of post-transformation Poland. It needs to be solved. And, as examples from other countries show, it CAN be solved.
