The Polish Green Building Council (PLGBC) and the Warsaw branch of the Association of Polish Architects - founder and coordinator of the #ArchtekciDlaClimate campaign - signed a cooperation agreement at the end of January. PLGBC and Sarp's Sustainable Architecture Circle will work together to promote sustainable construction and architecture.
The Polish Green Building Association and the Warsaw branch of SARP will mutually support activities in the area of initiatives, projects or events for the promotion of sustainable construction and architecture. The main premise for this initiative is a shared concern for the state and changes in the climate, for social and educational activities and actions that can have a significant impact on the future of our planet.
The goal of the nationwide #ArchitectsForClimate action is to engage the architectural community in activities that highlight the importance of the climate crisis and draw attention to the opportunities available to them to counter its consequences. The action is community-based, showing that many architects and designers recognize the problem of the negative impact of construction on the climate in their daily work.
