Couldn't attend the International Architecture Biennale Krakow 2021 this year? We have two pieces of news for you - both good! We've prepared the promised issue of A&B entirely dedicated to the event, in which we discuss the most important themes and conclusions gathered during this celebration of architecture, and a short film that perfectly captures the atmosphere of this year's MBA!
The biennial event, under the theme "RE-USE," to which the Cracow branch of SARP invited the Małopolska Regional Chamber of Architects, the Faculty of Architecture at the Cracow University of Technology and the editors of the Architektura & Biznes monthly, had a slightly different formula than before. The event could be followed live, in the ICE Congress Center building, and online. In this edition, there was no competition, but there were interdisciplinary three-day workshops, whose participants sought new solutions for the redefined Wesoła district. The subjects of the debates also included Aleje Trzech Wieszczów and Nowa Huta.
