"10 Questions to..." is a series of short conversations with architects and female architects, to whom we address the same pool of questions. In today's episode, we asked Łukasz Piankowski of the INTERURBAN studio in Gdynia for answers.
Łukasz Piankowski, a graduate of Gdansk University of Technology, is the winner of the Maciej Nowicki Award competition in 2010. Since 2011, together with interior designer Veronika Juszczyk, he has been creating the INTERURBAN office.

a. Idea.

2. the three most important buildings for you...?
a. A house in Bielsko-Biała- the first realization. I have the opportunity to be in this house and I am very comfortable in it.
b. Advertising Agency in Gliwice - the second of our realizations, I have a great fondness for this building, I got to know what Silesia means.
c. Office building of the Polish Gas Company in Gdansk - the latest realization, at the same time the first project after winning the competition in 2011, which became the impetus for the establishment of the studio.
3. the most important book on architecture...?
Zygmunt Bauman "Liquid Modernity" / Peter Zumthor "Thinking Architecture".
4. most inspiring city and why...?
Hong Kong, the most vertical city in the world, architects like boxes arranged. And to live - Berlin in every way.
5. architect with whom you would like to design something and why...?
Anyone who is a professional, but I most appreciate the cooperation of different industries.
6. hand drawing or computer drawing?
Sketch - works well in any situation.
7. mockup or 3D model?
Mock-up before 3D model.
8. modernism or postmodernism?
Modernism.
9. work after hours or sports?
Work so far, sports on Friday.
10. architecture or business?
I'm 35 years old, company for 8 years, three completed buildings, one loan - I guess it's not a business!
