"Domokrążcy" is not only about Polish houses and interiors - this time the Poznan team takes us to Brno, where a stately villa with art deco interiors is saying goodbye to its long-time owner.
Initiated during the New Plan festival in Poznań , the series "Domokrążcy" has what we expect from a good series - engaging stories, colorful characters and beautiful interiors. The project is jointly organized by the SARP Poznań Branch, the Common Point Association, the Open Center and the Made in art Foundation. Each episode introduces viewers and viewers to the stories of unique interiors and their inhabitants.
the last farewell
The history of three generations has been written in this house. Designed by Austrian architect Leopold Bauer, the villa was purchased by the grandfather of the main character, Marian Urbánek. Later, not without various adventures, his grandmother and mother lived there. Each of them left their mark in the walls of the villa. On the walls hang paintings, prints and tapestries woven by Marian 's mother, Emilia Hostašová. The windows, filled with stained glass, were the apple of Marian's eye, who for many years parlayed into glassmaking. Now that he is no longer able to work for health reasons, the villa, which was topped by a swimming pool and each room is decorated with art deco stucco, is facing a change of ownership and a new future.
