"10 Questions to..." is a series of short conversations with architects and female architects, to whom we address the same pool of questions. In today's installment of the mini-interview, Dominika Janicka answered about a footbridge in an unusual shape, an architectural investigation and where to go tomorrow.
Dominika Janicka - studied at the Gdansk University of Technology and the Institut Supérieur d'Architecture La Cambre in Brussels. She gained professional experience in architectural studios in Poland, Belgium, Germany and China. Curator of the exhibition "Fair Building" in the Polish Pavilion at the 15th Venice Architecture Biennale, since 2014 she has been co-leading the Public Space Studio at the Institute of Design in Kielce. Co-founder of an initiative addressing the topic of women in architecture - BAL of female architects.

A joint investigation with architect Alison Killing, for example, about the scale of destruction in the Gaza Strip after the recent Israeli attacks.

In view of recent events related to the Solpol demolition permit, I say emphatically: postmodernism! Tomorrow (06.08.2021, 5 pm) there will be a picket in front of the building to defend it. I encourage everyone reading to go! All info on the event available from the organizer - @solpolposting.
