Initiated during the New Plan festival in Poznań, the series "Domokrążcy" has what we expect from a good series - engaging stories, colorful characters and beautiful interiors. The project is jointly organized by the SARP Poznań Branch, the Common Point Association, the Open Center and the Made in art Foundation. Each episode introduces viewers and viewers to the stories of unique interiors and their inhabitants.
"Homebuyers" on vacation in the middle of the city
A little over two kilometers from Poznan's market square is a green enclave located on the Warta River - the Szeląg Garden, growing within the Old Winogrady Estate. According to the original plans, there was to be a parking lot at the site, but thanks to the initiative of Ewa and Zbyszek Łowżył, a community center, café, ceramics studio and community garden were created in the Szeląg garden. The Szeląg garden is a place for meetings, workshops and artistic events, but most of all a green enclave that provides a respite from the urban bustle.
With such ambitious plans, the busy couple needed a place where they could both work and relax - thus the bureaudom was created. The Łowżyls opted for recycling and mobility - so the building, designed by Adam Wierciński, was assembled from.... two shipping containers.
