On December 15, the SARP branch in Bielsko-Biała announced the results of the competition for the development of an urban-architectural concept for the development of the site of a multi-family sustainable housing estate on Sarni Stok Street in Bielsko-Biała.

The competition was a limited, one-stage, realization competition and received SARP No. 1045.

The Competition Jury consisted of:

• Jakub Mrówczyński - Bielsko-Biala Social Housing Association,
• Dagmara Karolak - Bielsko-Bialskie Towarzystwo Budownictwa Społecznego.

The Competition Jury awarded three prizes.

First Prize in the amount of PLN 25 thousand gross and an invitation to negotiate in the form of a sole-source contract was awarded to archistudio studniarek + pilinkiewicz studio.

Second Prize in the amount of PLN 15 thousand gross was awarded to the team composed of: SIMPLY ARCHITEKT Anna Drobczyk and Mateusz Witkowski.

Third Prize and PLN 10 thousand gross went to the M.O.C. studio. Architects.

The city's rental units will be built by the Bielsko-Biala Social Housing Association.

According to the Bielsko-Biala City Hall, the new housing estate is to be "a low-energy housing complex, characterized by the extensive use of pro-environmental solutions, which should be expressed, among other things, by the preservation of the existing tree stand in the project area."

The architectural and urban concept of the development is to meet the requirements of the "Green House" certification process. The investment is part of the long-term plans adopted by the municipality for the development of social rental housing in Bielsko-Biała.
