SARP 2025 Award of the Year

The next edition of the competition organized by the Association of Polish Architects for the best architectural realization of significant architectural values, completed in 2024 on the territory of our country - SARP Award of the Year, edition 2025 - has been launched .

Another edition of the competition organized by the Association of Polish Architects for the best architectural realization of significant architectural values, completed in 2024 on the territory of our country - the SARP Award of the Year, edition 2025- has been launched.

purpose

The purpose of the competition, established in 1983, is to award the best realizations - buildings or complexes of buildings with significant architectural values - built and completed in 2024 on the territory of Poland.

conditions

Objects may be submitted to the competition by their authors, design offices and studios, as well as, with the consent of the authors, local branches of SARP, investors, public administration bodies and editors of architectural magazines.

The competition jury will evaluate the submitted buildings in ten categories:

  • Single-family residential building
  • Multi-family residential building
  • Office, educational or administrative building
  • Cultural building
  • Other public building
  • Building completed in accordance with the principles of sustainable development, certified buildings
  • Public space
  • Architecture in heritage space
  • Interior architecture
  • Landscape architecture

And it will also award the main prize - the SARP Award of the Year.

  • deadline for receipt of applications: until April 14, 2025
  • announcement of competition results and exhibition opening: June 6, 2025

awards

  • Awards in each of the ten categories
  • Grand Prize - SARP Award of the Year

Receipt of the main award will be confirmed by a traditional medal, diploma and a plaque to be placed on the object. Diplomas are also awarded to investors and contractors of the honored buildings.

jury

  • The President of SARP or the Vice President of SARP delegated by him, as Chairman of the Jury (with the so-called "deciding vote"),
  • A foreign architect invited by the SARP General Board (optional),
  • Judges nominated by the SARP General Board,
  • A representative of the SARP Governing Council nominated by the SARP Governing Council,
  • Representative of the Honorary Patron of the Competition, if nominated by the Competition Patron,
  • Representative of the Competition Patron, if nominated by the Competition Patron,
  • A representative of the Association of Historic Preservationists,
  • A representative of the Association of Landscape Architects,
  • A representative of the Association of Interior Architects.
