Peter Drucker, the guru of the management field in the 20th century, always said that if you can't measure something, you can't improve it. Despite the years that have passed, this principle still holds true and applies to the world of architecture as much as any other field.
As part of our #ReportThursday series, we present documents, reports and guides on architecture, cities and local government that are certainly worth publicizing and promoting. For the first time in the series, we want to go beyond the previous format and invite you to participate in the Architect 2.0 survey organized by DOM3E.
In a world of constant volatility
In the face of megatrends concerning the development of technology, including artificial intelligence, progressive climate change or regulatory uncertainty, the architectural profession faces a number of questions that need to be asked. How do architects see the future?
DOM3E has launched the Architect 2.0. survey, which will focus on assessing entrepreneurship in the architecture profession. The survey's authors and contributors want to focus on understanding current trends and challenges in the architecture industry by analyzing key factors.
The survey addresses a number of issues - perception of the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in design processes and recognition of this as a threat or a positive impulse, assessment of the quality of education at Polish universities or subjective assessments of the situation in the industry.
Who is the survey addressed to? First of all, to practicing architects, not only those with their own studios, but also to office workers and freelancers. The survey also provides space for architecture students. The survey is fully anonymous.
After obtaining a representative number of responses, a report will be prepared, the results of which, as a strategic partner, we will present on our portal. We encourage all architects to participate in this survey.
