On Henryka Brodatego Street, in the villa-like part of Warsaw's Ursus-Gołąbki district, a new, intimate U-City Residence residential development by architects from Kuryłowicz & Associates is under construction.
(...) we decided to take advantage of the possibilities of Ursus-Gołąbki, good infrastructure, green areas, a villa-like part of the district with a remarkable history and an idyllic suburban atmosphere. Until now, the Ursus district has been associated with dense development of multi-family blocks of flats and small residential spaces," says Katarzyna Unold, Managing Director of ACCIONA, the project's investor.

For this project, we were looking for an architectural studio that would offer future owners the new quality that the Ursus-Gołąbki district has in it. This part of the city is very well connected to the center and with a very good infrastructure, while remaining in constant development and characterized by low-rise, intimate buildings surrounded by greenery. We knew that our project was to bring a breath of fresh air to the district on the one hand, but on the other hand not to disturb the intimate character of Gołąbki," adds Katarzyna Unold.
Situated in the western part of the city, the premise will consist of six low-rise, three-story multi-family buildings, with a total of one hundred and sixty-five two-, three-, four- and seven-room apartments with areas ranging from 35 to 141 square meters, with additional usable spaces - terraces, loggias or gardens.

Minimalist, simple white blocks will be varied here and there with geometric indentations in the elevations - withdrawn planes will mark the places of rhythmically arranged terraces and loggias.
We opted for stylish minimalism and uncomplicated geometric forms. Our economy of means has another hidden advantage - it leaves future residents ample room to give their own four corners an individual character," explains Marek Kuryłowicz, architect from Kuryłowicz & Associates studio.
A green-filled walkway has been planned between the buildings, located parallel to each other.

A greenery-filled walkway has been planned between the buildings, situated parallel to each other. What is more, residents will have at their disposal premises with gardens on the first floor, and apartments on the top floor will be extended with spacious terraces.
