From the series "Modern office buildings - trends 2023"
In the center of Tel Aviv, at the intersection of two commercial streets, the ToHA office building rises up to 29 stories. Its unique iceberg-shaped volume was designed by Ron Arad together with the local Avner Yashar team. The complex is equipped with a public garden, an observation deck and a restaurant.

More than 28,000 square meters of Cosentino's Dekton®surface covered the building and appeared on ventilated facades, floors, elevators, ceilings and interior partitions. Dekton panels of 10,000 different sizes and types were manufactured and cut at Cosentino's headquarters in Spain, and then transported to Israel by sea.
Architectural and decorative value
One of the main objectives of the project was to reduce the area of the building at street level and create a large park there with the idea of giving the surrounding area a public character. The building therefore grows on two large legs that gradually expand to form a twisting mass. Because of its geometric versatility, Dekton® was precisely adapted to this complexity, thanks to an infinite range of formats with minimum thickness and maximum surface area. On the intermediate levels of the building, 12-millimeter-thick and 2-meter-wide panels were used, which, thanks to careful cutting, define the vertices and edges, giving expression to the perfection of the solid.

From a functional point of view, this ambitious project reverses the organization of a conventional office building, placing all infrastructure and machinery on the first floors. This turns the roof into a public space and houses an exclusive restaurant with views of Tel Aviv and the Mediterranean Sea. In this way, the top floors remain vacant and can only be used for recreational use, while offices begin on the seventh floor, enhancing the beautiful views stretching from the heights. The technical levels are covered with a unique permeable facade of transverse panels, forming an "X" pattern. This arrangement allows air to flow through the gaps between the large panels (320×70 cm) and creates a unified front. Cosentino also offered the option to produce six custom colors based on the Strato model, creating a striking gradient of colors appearing from bottom to top.

Inside the building, a large 30-meter atrium serves as a lobby and meeting place. The office spaces look outward toward the city, through a glass facade, and are also open to the view of a central courtyard brightened by a large skylight. Finishes have been carefully selected to create a comfortable work space and a consistent corporate image. Dekton's ability to produce large-scale elements for floors, walls and ceilings has kept the number of joints to a minimum, creating a unified and refined space.
