Katarzyna Lewandowska

I graduated with a bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Interior Design at the Academy of Art in Szczecin. Currently, I am continuing them at the Master's degree.

My projects have been presented at Arch Inside Future Vision 2018, 2020 in Greece and Szczecin, Enlighten me/Enlighten me in Poznan 2019, Focus on interior - around space and object in Szczecin 2020.

I argue that allowing one's own intuition and emotions plays a key role in design in the broadest sense. During the design process of interior architecture, I use psychological and sociological knowledge and skills from the artistic field. Learning to play the piano, painting and drawing have developed my sensitivity and attentiveness. They bear fruit in vigilantly exploring relationships and taking bold steps in non-standard design thinking. Currently, I also express myself through analog intuitive collages created from unnecessary newspapers. This creates a space for me to repurpose scrap paper to create art, which I share on social media under the name @shtukasia. Each collage carries a set of sensations, experiences and reflects my sensibilities, while providing a space to exercise creative and analytical thinking.
