Kamil Owczarek

He began studying architecture at Krakow University of Technology in 2015. In 2017, he won the award of PK Vice-Rector for Student Affairs Dr. Marek Stanuszek for the architectural and urban design of a single-family residential complex published in "Środowisko Mieszka-niowy - Housing Environment". In the same year, he was also awarded the Prof. Waclaw Seruga award, the award of the head of the Department of Housing Environment Formation of Prof. Grazyna Schneider-Skalska, and the award of the students of the Faculty of Architecture of PK for the design of a single-family house. In addition to his studies at the polytechnic, he participated in numerous architectural workshops. He is the co-author of the work entitled. "Contemporary architectural glass in historical buildings" delivered at the I. National Conference of Students and Doctoral Students in Bydgoszcz and the Session of Scientific Circles of WA PK and published in the monograph "Sustainable Construction. Selected design and implementation aspects". He also presented research entitled. "Adaptations of historical buildings - a critical analysis on the example of Cricoteka and the Krakow Shooting Range" at the I. All-Poland Session of Students of Scientific Circles in Szczecin. In 2018, he presented a paper entitled. "Public space as a catalyst for social and economic changes of the investment area" at the VI. Students' National Arch - Eco Conference in Cracow, Poland.
As part of the Erasmus+ program, he studied at TU Delft, where he met Aleksandra and Agnieszka (co-authors of the project titled "Folding Crisis Shelter"). He defended his engineering diploma under the supervision of Dr. Patrycja Haupt with a very good grade with distinction.
