Magdalena Tomaszewska

I was born in 1998 in Lodz, Poland. After graduating from junior high school, I decided to go to the 1st Władysław Drapiewski Private High School of Art in Plock. I chose the profile Space Arrangement, and in 2018 I defended my art diploma under the supervision of Maciej Jeziórski, MA, and received the professional title of Visual Artist.

Currently, I am a master's student in Interior Design at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Toruń. I defended my bachelor's degree in July 2022 under the supervision of Dr. Marcin Podskarbi.

Interior design has been my passion since I was young. As a little girl, I used to collect various newspapers, interior design and construction catalogs that I found at home and cut out what I liked from them. I would glue all these cut-outs into a large notebook, unconsciously creating collages of inspiration. My dad has been creating exclusive custom kitchens for 25 years, and I've been watching his work since I was young. That's why they say of me that I "drank design and the creative process with my mother's milk." I associate my professional future exclusively with this field, because I believe that working from passion is not a job, but a pleasure.
