Soudal Concern, the world's market leader in construction chemicals, has been setting the industry's course for more than 50 years, enjoying the unwavering trust of contractors. It is currently the world's largest manufacturer of polyurethane spray foams and a leading supplier of sealing compounds, adhesives and roofing chemicals. Through systematic investment in research and development, openness to innovative solutions and adaptation to the needs of local markets, the company has achieved a leading position in the international construction chemicals market. Its headquarters, logistics, operations and R&D center are based in Belgium, while sales offices and subsidiaries are already located in 130 countries around the world. The concern has 16 production plants located in Europe, Asia, North and South America.
The Soudal concern was founded more than 50 years ago, and has been present in Poland for 24 years. The company currently serves thousands of customers in our country through its own extensive distribution network. In 2009, the first Soudal Manufacturing foam and silicone factory in Poland was opened in Pionki near Radom, equipped with the most innovative technological solutions and meeting the strictest environmental requirements. The Soudal Group has also recently included Bochem Chemical Plant, a highly regarded manufacturer of construction, shoe and furniture adhesives, and Partner Tapes, a manufacturer of sealing tapes.
For many years, Soudal has been a leader in the market for mounting foams and sealants in Poland. It is also one of the most important advocates of modern technologies and systems - fully in line with the European strategy for energy-efficient construction (EPBD). This is confirmed by the awards and distinctions granted to the company, including the Building Brand of the Year, of which Soudal is a multiple winner. According to research conducted by ASM - Center for Market Research and Analysis, every third Polish professional uses Soudal's installation foam on a daily basis, and every fourth uses installation adhesives in cartridges and sealing compounds from its portfolio.
Soudal's innovative and technologically advanced products are used in the most demanding construction projects around the world. In Poland, Soudal products have been used, among others. In Poland, Soudal products have been used, among others, in the construction of the National Stadium, the PKOL Headquarters, the Museum of the History of Polish Jews, the Copernicus Center, the Chopin Museum and the Złote Tarasy Shopping Center located in Warsaw, the Municipal Stadium in Lublin, the Airport in Świdnik, the Silesian Library in Katowice, the ZUS Headquarters in Szczecin, the Shopping Mall in Kielce and many others.
Soudal Manufacturing plant
Soudal Manufacturing began manufacturing operations in Pionki in 2009. The factory produces top-quality polyurethane foams and sealing compounds, as well as adhesives and cleaning preparations for construction and industry, which are distributed both to the Polish market and the rest of the world. In 2018, the company achieved revenues of 287 million zlotys, which currently puts it in the position of one of the largest investors in the Tarnobrzeg Economic Zone.
The Soudal factory in Pionki is currently one of the most modern plants of the Soudal concern in the world. Before launching its production lines, it went through demanding audits and constantly has to meet a number of demanding criteria related to human and environmental safety. To this end, a safety report, an emergency prevention program and an internal operational and rescue plan made at the Scientific and Research Center for Fire Protection, the Józef Tuliszkowski National Research Institute in Józefów, Poland, have been prepared and implemented. Soudal Manufacturing closely cooperates with the Training Center of the Provincial Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Warsaw in the training of firefighters. Periodic drills for the Radom Fire Brigade Teams have been conducted on the premises of the Pionki manufacturing plant - primarily because of the modern technological and communication solutions at the factory, which set new standards for manufacturing plants.
