Cosentino, a world leader in the production and distribution of large-format cladding for architecture and design, is launching a new ultra-compact collection of Dekton Pietra Kode sinters. The individual decors reinterpret the beauty of the well-known Italian stones Vicenza, Travertine and Ceppo di Gré. The classic patterns have been recreated using modern technology, allowing for much better performance than natural stone.
Dekton's new designs have the potential to breathe contemporary elegance into many architectural projects, with their rich hues and textures creating a sensory experience beyond what the eye can see. The carbon-neutral, large-format claddings allow the collection to be used in virtually unlimited ways, whether inside, on a terrace or on the facade of a house. Pietra Kode is the third collection Cosentino has created with designer and architect Daniel Germani. While Germani's previous "Industrial" and "Chromica" collections for the Spanish brand often had an industrial feel, Pietra Kode's seven shades reflect a fascination with Italian architecture and the influence of Vicenza stone, travertine and the iconic Ceppo di Gré.

For this collection, I spent a lot of time learning about the history of each stone in Italian architecture and reimagined it in contemporary designs, with all the advantages of Dekton, says Daniel Germani. - Pietra Kode is a collection that shows luxury in small, subtle details. It was designed with the future in mind and complements any space in a way that will not go out of style in interiors.
VICENZA KODE
The first installment of Dekton features four warm and versatile colors that reinterpret Vicenza stone. Neutral shades, reminiscent of earth tones, coexist in perfect harmony, complemented by a palette of creams and grays. VK01 Nebbia is inspired by the texture of Grigio Alpi, with a fine white cream base dotted with warm gray tones. VK02 Avorio has a light beige hue and an extremely natural finish, reminiscent of the eponymous Avorio stone, an Italian material characterized by the presence of fossilized shells. VK03 Grigio is based on the gray colors and warm nuances of Grigio Alpi stone, popularized by Renaissance architect Andrea Palladio, who used it in his villas and palaces in the Veneto region. It blends perfectly with écru, beige, wood colors and taupe. VK04 Grafite combines a mix of black and gray, interspersed with whitish and reddish flecks, creating the texture of dark, fine-grained limestone.

TRAVERTINE KODE
This series alludes to the famous stone from which Rome was built, and at the same time represents a new technological vision of the noble material that inspired the architecture of the Renaissance. Two elegant decors, full of nuance, evoke the restraint of classical style. TK05 Sabbia is a reinterpretation of Italian travertine, with veining flowing in a disorderly manner, making it ideal for rustic or natural interiors. TK06 Marmorio evokes Travertino Navona, the quintessential Roman stone. Its porous striped texture will give an elegant, bright and light look to any project.

CEPPO KODE
The last of Cosentino's premiere series, it shows anew the beauty of the Ceppo di Gré stone, often used in Milanese architecture. Like Vicenza Kode, Ceppo Kode also features a pattern along the edge, so it will accentuate details in the interior perfectly. In CK07 Ceppo, the inspiration for the unique pattern came from the distinctive blue-gray multi-patterned structure of the Italian stone Ceppo di Gré. The unique "pebbled" pattern is ideal for both interiors and exteriors, and its timeless design makes it an ideal choice for classic interiors in a contemporary setting.
