Which Polish city is the healthiest? With Joanna Wegrzynowska talks to Przemysław Ciępka

What does it mean for a city to be healthy? What factors influence the health of urban residents? What are the key findings of the Healthy Cities Index and how to design spaces that support well-being? We talk about urban health with Joanna Wegrzynowska of the LUX MED Group.

Joanna Węgrzynowska - an expert in the area of creating and implementing ESG strategies of companies and non-financial reporting. She gained experience in the area of sustainable development at Grupa Żywiec S.A. (Heineken N.V.) and at CEMEX Poland, where she was responsible for implementing the international social responsibility strategy of both companies, reporting and CSR projects. She is responsible for the ESG strategy of the LUX MED Group. She is co-author of sustainability reports recognized as the best in Poland (according to the Responsible Business Forum Competition), as well as articles on ESG reporting and the impact of environmental change on health, and participated in the work on the Healthy Cities Index. She is a graduate of Leon Kozminski Academy of Management and Marketing and Journalism and Social Communication at Warsaw University, as well as the Executive Program "Sustainability: Your competitive advantage" at IE Business School in Madrid and "Executing Sustainability Strategies" at Imperial College Business School in London.

The talk took place at the Open Eyes Economy Summit 2024, an event of which Architecture&Business was a media partner. This year's Value Economy Congress was held under the theme "The Soul of Europe."
