Properties

TAS stoneware cladding is characterized by above-average resistance to water, stains, high temperatures and frost. A ventilated façade finished with ceramic performs the function of thermal insulation of the building, allows ventilation of the walls and has high acoustic insulation.

TAS documents and research

In 2020, Tubadzin launched Monolith Plus slabs and began the procedure for obtaining a National Technical Assessment for the entire system. After a series of studies and tests, we and Atlas obtained a National Technical Assessment for the ETICS system.

We have now completed the tests necessary to obtain the National Technical Assessment for the full bonded and riveted ventilated façade system with substructure. The tests performed as part of the research procedure confirmed the achievement of product parameters in accordance with standards, and in many cases much higher than expected, which confirms the high quality and safety of the product. The scope of testing was broader than the requirements of the certification procedure. The solutions used in TAS are also tested from the scope of non-degradation, i.e. paragraph 225. Tubądzin regularly performs adhesion tests with leading suppliers of chemicals for the installation of facades in glued systems. We are open to conducting individual tests with our potential partners for specific investments.

TAS technology is available in 4 installation variants:

TAS bonded system to a frame
The bonded system is based on chemical assembly of Monolith Plus panels to a supporting substructure consisting of consoles and profiles forming a plane. The system is designed for buildings up to 25 meters in height. For higher developments, use a riveted system, visually consistent with the glued system.
TAS riveted system
The system of assembling panels by riveting is based on mechanical assembly of Monolith Plus panels to a supporting substructure consisting of consoles and profiles forming a plane.
TAS roof system
The installation of ceramic tiles on sloping roofs is a unique solution for attaching any ceramic tiles, stone tiles and other tiles, fulfilling the role of tiles, to the roof structure or to the structure of the vertical walls of the building, without visible fasteners. The base of this solution is the WIDO RC roof system, our partner.
TAS ETICS system
ETICS insulation systems allow the installation of ceramic tiles on a properly prepared layer of insulation, which is an excellent solution for smaller projects or others where the use of a ventilated façade on a grid is a problem.

Photovoltaics

The substructure system allows the combination of stoneware cladding with BIPV panels in a single plane. Both as an element of the facade and the roof.

TAS individual prints

Thanks to innovative technologies used in the production of ceramic tiles, the Tubądzin Group can transfer graphics designed by an architect onto the tile. The print on the tile is fixed in the firing process, which guarantees durability and unchanging color saturation for many years. Printing in high resolution, allows for perfect reproduction of graphics with attention to detail, shades and color gradients.

TAS tile backing

Monolith Plus slabs are underlaid with fiberglass mesh on a modern factory line. The use of such technology allows to reinforce the board, providing high resistance to breakage and prevents it from breaking into small elements as a result of impact. This is a solution required when installing the tiles next to passageways and everywhere where breaking the material would cause danger.
