The kayak base in Augustow won the Audience Award in the POiD Building Awards 2021! Important elements of the building located in a picturesque bend of the Netta River are Wiśniowski brand gates and doors.
The project is a joint work of the PSBA studio and INOONI, and has already received numerous awards from professionals both in Poland and Europe. This time, the canoe base was evaluated by the public and won in the first edition of the competition organized by the Polish Windows and Doors Association (POiD).

We received the information about the award for the canoeing base in Augustow with great pride, because Wiśniowski brand products were used in the facility and it was our company that entered the facility in the competition organized by POiD. The purpose of the competition was to search for and present the best joinery and building automation solutions in the context of completed architectural objects, comments Agnieszka Mazur, Wiśniowski Global Marketing Managing Director. - Additional satisfaction comes from the fact that the Wiśniowski gates and doors used by the architects perfectly blended into the body of the building. This says a lot about the design of our products, which perfectly fit into the architecturally impressive block.

The use of the products in the canoe base building was a challenge, as they have to work in a difficult environment. Wiśniowski likes challenges and was eager to take on the project. The facility included three BR77 automatic roller shutter doors - suspended picturesquely above the water's surface; MakroPro sectional industrial doors and ECO steel shell doors. The canoeing base a Augustów is a public facility. All its elements must be resistant to frequent use and guarantee full reliability, and this is fully guaranteed by Wiśniowski brand products.
