Jury Opinion
The third prize was awarded for an attempt at an architectural journey referring to and creatively developing the urban composition of the University Campus in Bialystok, in order to finally, in the spatial layout, create a hotel complex based on a plan referring to the constellation of the constellation Virgo. The author consistently built the space based on systemic transformations of glulam construction schemes, achieving, despite the massive structural elements, an architectural form that is light in expression, yet rich in detail. It should be noted that the accentuated wooden elements in the facades of the hotel buildings aptly fit into the forest context of the surroundings.
