justification of the jury
The third prize was awarded for the proposal of a building with a rational functional-spatial structure that builds the prestige of the institution by the way of shaping the form, facade, representative entrance and multi-level internal atrium. This structure, by embedding green pots in the concrete lattice, constituting what the authors call a climate barrier, is both innovative and pro-ecological.
The competition court noted that the work significantly exceeded the guidelines of the provisions of the Local Development Plan in terms of the ratio of biologically active area. A functional impediment to the circulation of evidence is the separation of the biological laboratory complex on different levels.
