The special award was given by the jury for the project's narrative focused on adapting to a future climate change scenario, not only by ensuring lower energy consumption, but also by maintaining thermal comfort inside the building. Another aspect appreciated was the focus on the revitalization of the area with the integration of local vegetation, also taking into account adaptation scenarios to future climate change.
