abstract
The diploma project focuses on shaping the attractiveness of a small town, which is the picturesque Ciężkowice, located at the foot of the Beskid Wyspowy, in the valley of the Biała river, in the Małopolskie voivodeship. Research and analysis of the region has drawn attention to the unique musical heritage represented by centers such as: Penderecki's European Music Center in Luslawice, the Palace in Janowice and the former Ignacy Paderewski manor house in Kąsna Dolna. The area around Paderewski's manor house, despite its historical significance, remains undervalued and neglected. In response, the project aims to revitalize the area, transforming it into a modern music center. The goal is not only to restore it to its former glory, but also to raise the attractiveness of the town of Ciężkowice, with which it neighbors, as a place for promoting culture and music education. Through this initiative, the project is leading to free the city from one-dimensional associations with the Petrified City and show its full potential as a music and tourism center, as well as create a new thematic trail in the region, integrating these unique sites into a cohesive project.
