Jury opinion
The award was given for comprehensive, refined and resident-friendly solutions. The strengths of the work are: a wide passage under the Niestachowska route, a pedestrian route along the bed of the unearthed Bogdanka river, a place for various amateur sports, a bridge on Rusalka - both as an accent in the landscape and a viewpoint, but also a place of commemoration. Also noteworthy are the reduction of vehicular traffic and the inclusion of a planned train stop. An original proposal is a pavilion under the viaduct. On the other hand, the reduction of the existing sports (professional) function, which could be a field of potential conflicts with existing users, can be considered debatable. The work very communicatively and aesthetically given.
