Jury Opinion
This work was awarded for its interesting spatial composition and the search for an architectural form that fits the scale of its surroundings. The court appreciated the shaping of the object's architecture, which aptly defines the scale, significance and style of the new building. Modesty, discreet use of contemporary forms and materials while respecting the historical context seem optimal for this important location in the city. The main entrance to the building, which connects the historic fabric to the new expressive body, has been resolved in a clear and elegant way. The material and technological solutions proposed by Ms. Dominika Karpiuk testify to her great ability to apply technical knowledge in design studies.
