Justification of the chapter
1) Providing a clear division into functional zones, which divided into: entrance zone, senior citizen zone, relaxation zone, zone of younger and older children.
2) The project was praised for providing an appropriate selection of surfaces, allowing safe movement, providing access for children and adults in wheelchairs to each zone of the playground and thus to the playground equipment. The surfaces were equipped with sensory, tactile elements, leading to the various spaces of the playground which is particularly important for users with visual disabilities.
3) The competition committee particularly appreciated the provision of an appropriate selection of playground equipment equipped with inclusive toys such as: inclusive swing, inclusive merry-go-round sandbox and a fitness set resembling a dinosaur skeleton, the proposed pieces of equipment, do not stand out in a special way from the other toys without creating the impression of separation, stigmatization, the elements discreetly fit into the functional program, allowing the integration of all users regardless of age or type of disability.

An interesting element proposed by the authors of the submitted work is the provision of sensory boards, designed for Braille learning. The board is located in a sensory area easily accessible to all users.

Noteworthy is the use of natural colors of the proposed equipment and paving, the ordering of the various zones of the playground, which undoubtedly fits into the character of the designed neighborhood.

The Chapter also noted the use of ecological solutions such as the use of permeable surfaces.
