Jannie Dircks, a student at Jan Des Bouvrie Academy - Saxion Deventer, wanted to create a second home for children when designing the "HetSnuitje" day care center. She designed a pleasant environment from which one does not want to leave. Using nature and the current garden layout as her main source of inspiration, she seeks to achieve greater unity between the interior and exterior. Using mainly circular elements, she brings softness to her design. The materials and colors chosen contribute to a calm and joyful overall appearance. The alternating use of spotlighting and pendant and wall lamps creates the homey atmosphere she really wanted to achieve.
