Imagine walking down narrow streets in Spain, passing century-old stone houses and as you look into the distance there is a view of vineyards.... here in the province of La Rioja, the Palace of the Counts of Cirac stands out among the buildings. A subtle blend of modernity with the tradition of an 18th-century palace. The character of the interiors located in the attic is added by natural light penetrating through FAKRO roof windows.
Villalba de Rioja is located at the foot of the Obarenes mountains and 4 km from the world's largest concentration of centuries-old vineyards, in El Barrio de la Estación de Haro. The province "breathes" the history left behind by its famous residents: the family of D. Pedro Ruiz del Castillo - the founder of the city of Mendoza in Argentina, Count Cirac and Countess Castillo Fiel.

Today, the palace serves as a boutique guest house that offers 8 luxurious rooms and suites with en suite bathrooms. The interiors have retained their austere style, rich in natural materials such as stone and wood, complemented by designer furniture. The attic has been made to shine thanks to the use of skylights, which highlighted the texture of the stone walls and adorned the austere interiors with light.
This is an ideal place for those who value tranquility and independence, a love of detail and enjoy the beauty of the surrounding nature. For privacy and to protect the rooms from heating, the owner installed exterior awnings.
