RM58 classic armchair

RM58 is a contemporary version of the highly regarded and iconic design armchair designed by Roman Modzelewski. Made in 1958, the prototype from polyester-glass laminate was a pioneering use of this material in Poland. Its innovative character resulted from the production technology used, and from the formal point of view, it was a unique example in the world of a fully formed, homogeneous organic seat shell.
One of the first copies of the chair was purchased by London's Victoria & Albert Museum for its permanent collection of world design.

The contemporary armchair manufacturing technology developed by VZÓR (rotoforming) made it possible to overcome the limitations of the designer's handicraft production methods, while at the same time making it possible to achieve a faithful reproduction in relation to the original. In addition to the classic high-gloss lacquered version, the armchair is also offered in a matte version. In addition to the new quality of aesthetic nature, this version is also suitable for outdoor use. The armchair produced by rotoforming technology from polyethylene.

Material used: seat: manufactured from multilayer glass fiber reinforced composite, covered with a layer of colored gelcoat; legs: powder-coated steel, matte black.
