Architecture, city, water
The issue was created in cooperation with Open Eyes Economy.
On October 24-25, we invite you to the Congress Center of the Wrocław University of Technology (and online) for the 5th International Congress "City - Water - Quality of Life".
In the October issue, we look at the topic of WATER IN ARCHITECTURE AND CITY. Water is not only a natural resource, but also an element of the urban landscape and architecture. Polish cities are beginning to run out of it, this is a well-known fact....
- What impact does the built environment have on it?
- How to shape urban policy on the topic of blue infrastructure and what role do architects and urban planners have to play in this matter?
- How to design in cities to promote high water retention?
These are the main questions to which our invited experts try to find a recipe.
In the issue we also look at urban water management strategies. CENTRALA Project Group talks about its urban-water reconnaissance. We also talk to Prof. Szymon Malinowski and Prof. Mariusz Lamentowicz about the forecast for urban water issues.
We invite you to read this water issue!
