The architecture of tomorrow
Passive, healthy, ecological
The Vitruvian triad - durability, utility, beauty - has invariably formed the canon of architectural concepts for centuries. One can question it or not, agree with it or create others, nevertheless, understanding the classical traditions is the foundation and starting point of any consideration of architecture.
Thinking about the theme of this year's 2018/2019 edition of the Products for Architects catalog, we asked ourselves about the ARCHITECTURE OF TOMORROW, making it our watchword. A seemingly easy question, however, an easy one it is not. We started by creating our own triad of terms: PASSIVE, HEALTHY, ECOLOGICAL. These are, in our opinion, some of the most important challenges facing architecture today. But are the buildings we create today really the ones we would want to live, work, rest in tomorrow? What is the universalism of human needs? Does it and how does it change with time, the context, the conditions in which we live? We are still looking for comprehensive answers to these questions and encourage discussion among all interested parties.
The publication Products for Architects, presenting architecture "from the inside", takes a step towards this search. It is also a catalog of the best technologies, the best products available on the market, of which a building, a square, a street are ultimately composed. It's a catalog of companies that the architect carefully chooses when implementing his project.
We would like to thank all the companies that responded to our question about the ARCHITECTURE OF TOMORROW. It is your products, which often have a mission behind them to create a better tomorrow, that build quality in architecture. THE ARCHITECTURE OF TOMORROW, we should add, defined by USER HEALTH, wide-ranging ECOLOGY and, increasingly, PASSIVITY.
The yearbook Products for Architects is the only catalog on the Polish market of all materials and products used by architects and designers to create architecture.
The traditional printed version, with extensive alphabetical and industry-specific tables of contents, allows you to quickly reach the information, product or technology you are looking for. It has been published on the Polish publishing market since 2003. The characteristic, clear graphic layout of the presentations (2-page), devoid of advertising clamor and aggressiveness, finds recognition among our readers.
The idea of its creation turned out to be the proverbial "bull's eye", which is emphasized not only by sales, the constantly growing number of companies interested in appearing in its pages, but also by the positive opinions of the Readers themselves - architects, designers, investors.
An alternative to the printed version of the yearbook is the Products tab of our portal.
