Bester's FORM collection. 3D wooden panels and decors
From the series "Inspirations and solutions - ceilings and wall coverings 2021".
In a world where we use technology at every turn and most of our activities are computerized, we seek contact with nature. This is evident in interior design trends, where for several years we have seen a turn to natural finishing materials. Regardless of interior design trends, the most popular material that has not lost its appeal is wood. A natural raw material used for many hundreds of years, versatile and timeless. It is wood that perpetuates the craftsmanship, surprises with its unique grain pattern, stains and matures like wine.

Plywood a more perfect form of wood
All the advantages of solid wood have been taken over by plywood, a material making a comeback in showrooms, and appreciated for its qualities by designers for many decades. It is thanks to its flexibility and susceptibility to holding shape that we can enjoy the iconic Lounge Chair & Ottoman (1956). The first chair that the Eams couple, Charles and Ray, designed for the social elite was based on molded plywood. It was thanks in part to their timeless designs that plywood in interiors gained the status of a premium material.
Production of bent-glued (shaped) plywood allows you to take full advantage of the combined positive characteristics of wood (usually beech) and synthetic resins. These products are characterized by considerable strength in relation to the relatively low weight, high surface hardness and beautiful natural wood grain. And an additional advantage is to give and fix any curvature of the surface. Undoubtedly decorative is the cross-section of plywood, showing thin layers of wood (flake, veneer) pressed into the desired shape.

Spatial wooden forms a decorative novelty
Based on the technology of bending (profiling) plywood, young Polish designers have created a collection of decorative wall coverings. Flowing shapes, spectacularly reflecting light and playing with perspective. Sleek wooden decors, perfectly smooth with hand-sanded edges. Unique 3D wall panels from Bester Studio are the nobility of wood at its best.
3D molded plywood wall cladding is a way of original interior decoration. It is a solution that allows you to combine modern design with a classic, traditional material - natural wood. Decorative wooden panels warm up the interior and add timeless class.

FORM collection from Bester Studio
Bester Studio's proposal of decorative profiled plywood consists of 6 panel models:
EVAN
The majestic, large-format EVAN panel (60×120 cm) is a massive rectangle bent into an irregular form. It catches the eye and intrigues. It is perfect both as a hallway wall covering and as a furniture front.
HOOP
The square HOOP decor with dimensions (60×60 cm) with an inscribed convex circle, evokes the diaphragm of a loudspeaker. A touch of extravagance pulsating through the 3D wall panel.
LYSSE
Wooden "tile" LYSSE (50×20 cm) - a delicate wall cladding, perfect for backlighting thanks to its convexity and the space between the decor and the base plate. It also works well as a furniture front, such as in drawers.
STELLAR
Decorative 3D wooden cube STELLAR, measuring 15×15 cm, is a square with finely curved edges, delighting in its simplicity and sophistication. It allows you to create a variety of compositional variations - regular or arrhythmic. Single decors can also form a loose composition.
STILKE
Slender STILKE decors are arranged in fancifully curved compositions. This is a noble alternative to simple wall fins that perfectly play with chiaroscuro and perspective. Here the decorative character of the plywood edge plays the first fiddle.
TRIGO
TRIGO perforated ceiling and wall panel (60×60 cm) consists of two triangular elements with a pyramidal vaulting. This is an original finishing detail, improving the efficiency of sound wave dispersion, but also sometimes a fancy light fixture.

For individual orders
The production has the character of an individual order, which is characterized by uniqueness. Compositions are created together with the customer to best fit the arranged interior.
Wood and finish of your choice
The decors are offered in 5 wood species: beech, birch, oak, ash, walnut and 3 types of finishing: varnishing, oiling and staining. Panel arrangement elements are made of molded beech plywood in natural veneer. All of them - with the exception of the Stellar cubes - are mounted with clips on a laminated or veneered base board, gr. 18 mm.
