The selection of the right resin depends on the conditions in which the coating made from it will be used. When choosing a specific solution, it is necessary to pay attention to the frequency and volume of traffic on the floor, the mechanical and chemical loads to which it will be subjected, as well as the desired roughness of the substrate.

It all starts with the substrate

A common element, independent of the resin system used, is the quality of the substrate. It must be smooth and strong, as these parameters translate into one of the most important strengths of coatings - durability. Otherwise, the floor will crack and the resin layer will peel off. If the substrate is too weak, it can be reinforced with webertec EP 100 prim epoxy resin. In addition, it should have a tight waterproofing, which is also a vapor barrier. The most common substrate for resin floors is concrete in the appropriate class - its surface must be mechanically cleaned, and all small depressions smoothed. For this purpose, an epoxy putty prepared with webertec EP 150 base resin can be used.

The wide range of Webertec resins with different properties and applications creates almost unlimited possibilities for their use in industrial facilities, warehouses, stores, public buildings, technical rooms, parking lots or exhibition areas - both those subjected to foot traffic loads and medium transport traffic.
