Unique and patented technology for safe and reliable production of powder coatings with the effect of
IGP Pulvertechnik AG is a leader in powder coatings. To guarantee the highest quality powder coatings, IGP uses innovative production processes. In addition to patented technologies, knowledge sharing is of great importance, for the company.
To achieve the best end result, a number of factors are important. First, of course, is the product to be applied. However, a good product alone is not enough. The substrate, constructive design and the environmental conditions in which the painted elements will be exposed also play an important role. In addition, of course, the application process itself has a huge impact on the end result.

Innovative process technology
IGP is known for its Swiss quality and excellent pearlescent effects, also available in regular fine texture. To ensure maximum color and effect reproducibility, IGP has developed a stable powder coating production process on patented technology. IGP-Effectives® is an innovative bonding of effect particles to the powder paint grain that ensures safety throughout the effect powder coating application process. Unlike conventional effect powder coatings, the application parameters or plant configuration have only a very slight effect on the coating result. The application parameters and the recovery mode of unused powder paint cause virtually no variation in color and effect, resulting in a reproducible paint finish.
IGP-Effectives® impresses not only with its visual depth of effect, but also with its excellent ease of cleaning, durability and mortar resistance

Optimal application process
In addition to this patented production technology, IGP has developed special processing techniques for effect powder coatings that help painters define optimized and specific settings for powder coating application parameters. Each effect powder coating requires a specific application method. To facilitate this, IGP has divided the various powder coating processing conditions into five classes. This allows the person making the application to immediately determine the equipment parameter settings recommended for the type of product. In addition, four categories have been established for the production process of effect powder coatings: Dry-Blend, Mica Bond, Premium-Bond and IGP-Effectives®. This is a very easy-to-use classification that allows for maximum risk reduction during the powder coating processing.
Effectives® technology ensures complete binding of effect pigment particles, which not only makes the end result (color and effect) extremely stable, but also allows almost 100% use of paint from the recovery system (even without adding fresh paint). In fact, this means no material waste and the highest efficiency. Effectives® technology makes the application process very easy to carry out, while being environmentally friendly - for the highest reliability and cost-effectiveness.

Benefits for the facade builder and architect
Thanks to the minimal impact of application parameters and equipment, IGP-Effectives® technology makes Effectives® powder coatings particularly suitable for large-scale projects that typically involve multiple metalworking companies and coating contractors. This results in clear, homogeneous effect surfaces, even for complex part geometries. Jobs can be completed with the highest material efficiency and lowest paint losses. IGP-Effectives® impresses not only with the visual depth of the effects, but also with excellent ease of cleaning, durability and mortar resistance.

IGP-Effectives® was introduced in the IGP-HWF series of super durable powder coatings, but this technology is also being developed for the IGP-DURA®xal series. The advanced IGP-Effectives® technology is a hallmark of IGP and offers greater safety in this premium product.
