Mateusz Michalak

Mateusz Michalak (born February 5, 1992 in Wroclaw) - a graduate of Architecture at the Wroclaw University of Technology, specializing in Architecture and Urban Planning. Scholarship holder and participant of international design workshops, winner of the "Wroclaw Magnolia" competition. In 2019 he defended his master's thesis entitled. "Social Activator at Olbinska Street in Wroclaw". Professionally, he has collaborated with Szlachcic Architects, among others, and currently works and lives in Wroclaw, where he is also active in the Olbin neighborhood and creates civic projects.
Privately: An opponent of littering cities with cars, he goes everywhere by bicycle, which allows him to see urban space and the architecture in it in a different way. This point of view inspires him to carry out projects closely related to the urban fabric. In addition, he is interested in interiors, industrial design and graphic design. In the winter he enjoys downhill skiing. He loves good cinema and the search for new music.
