Julia Mejer

Julia Mejer - a graduate of the Lodz University of Technology, majoring in Architecture. She defended her diploma thesis with honors under the supervision of Professor Marek Janiak. Her interests focus on architecture and revitalization of Lodz and issues related to historicizing architecture. She is fascinated by the consequences of the interaction between history and modernity, as well as the very issue of "modernity" in art, and in architecture itself - its semantic dimension. She is the winner of national architectural competitions and a scholarship for the most talented students of the Technical University of Lodz. She gathered her professional experience in architectural offices and urban design studios. Privately an amateur of contemporary art and water sports.
