Adrianna Tkaczyk
"Ever since I was a child, a ruler, pencil and eraser have been essential tools in my childhood games as I designed and imagined my ideal home.
Now in the Swiss office, I am fulfilling my dream of being among professionals who create the skyline of changing cities. Through my experiences from student projects at a Danish university and working in international design offices, I have come to the conclusion that a building is like a unique "bridge" in the context of time, place, nature and culture between ingenuity, imagination and the dream world and the present.
Goethe's quote "Architecture is like frozen music" reveals the principle and universal purpose to provide the viewer with an aesthetic and sensual experience. I can't see a more expedient way than to stimulate the viewer's imagination and remain in the memory. Ultimately, we are judged by what we leave behind."
