Unusual perforated sheet facade
Cineword New Mersey Retail Park (shown in photos) is an entertainment complex containing 11 movie theaters and 6 restaurants. Located on Liverpool Road, the building is poised to become a distinctive landmark on the city's map.
The bold design gives the facade, consisting of 3,000 meters of perforated sheets manufactured and supplied by RMIG, a character as if from a science fiction movie. The building is located in close proximity to the River Mersey and the acid-resistant sheet material used for the facade provides strength and weather resistance.
