Modern eco-ceramics
Ceramic facade materials, although produced for centuries, enjoy unflagging interest. They are very eagerly chosen for various projects by architects designing both residential and public buildings. The undeniable advantages of ceramics are the technical parameters that determine their exceptional durability, timeless aesthetics, environmental compatibility and energy efficiency, which is so important today.
Healthy microclimate and economy
Röben brand bricks and clinker tiles are made from clay. This, fired at temperatures of more than 1000°C, gives rise to building ceramics, which have long been known for their antibacterial, anti-allergenic and anti-static properties. It also helps maintain an optimal microclimate in interiors, as it regulates air humidity. It absorbs its excess and gives it back when it is dry. In addition, ceramic isan excellent thermal insulation material and has a favorable thermal conductivity coefficient. Its high accumulation rate means that it takes a long time to heat up and also takes a long time to cool down. For this reason, it is used successfully in energy-efficient construction.

Ceramic walls stand for warmth in winter and coolness in summer, so during the operation of the building they generate significant savings, among other reasons. Also of great importance here is the solidity and durability demonstrated by both bricks and clinker tiles of the Röben brand. They perform perfectly on the facade of the building, creating a timeless protection. They are resistant to mechanical damage, UV radiation, frost, chemical and biological corrosion, and dirt can be simply washed off with water, which means that they do not require additional refreshing during use by repainting as, for example, in the case of facades covered with plaster. These high-quality products are manufactured to the highest required standards in the most modern plants in Europe, located in Środa Śląska. As a result, the clinker is able to last even hundreds of years. The quality of the ceramics is also guaranteed by Röben's more than 160 years of experience.

In harmony with nature
The environmental friendliness of clinker is evidenced by its natural composition - only the highest quality clay is used in production, without cement, lime or other additives. In addition, the production process is carried out in the spirit of zero waste. Products that do not meet the requirements do not become waste, and are completely recycled. It should also be added that clinker bricks and tiles are safe for the environment, the inhabitants of houses built with them and the natural ecosystem.

Any color and texture
Thanks to a wide range of colors, it is easy to choose the tonality that best matches the architecture of the block, the style of the window and door woodwork and the roofing material. The color palette of Röben products includes a whole cross-section of shades from pure white, through yellows, oranges, reds, browns, grays, to deep black. Modern models are sometimes uniform in color, such as the timeless pearl-white OSLO, or the fashionable PORTLAND bricks and clinker tiles in anthracite. Both proposals give a spectacular effect on large surfaces and go well with materials such as metal or glass. No less popular are also more classic in form, multicolored face bricks, such as Röben MOORBRAND Iehm, which have a red hue, with tones of yellow and beige. Of the cooler shades, designers like to choose a variant of silver-gray GEESTBRAND bricks or the AARHUS series, with blue pigment added to it.

Great variety does not only apply to colors. Röben bricks and clinker tiles can have smooth faces - matte or shiny, as well as varied surfaces. Among them we can find fine-grained, fluted, sandblasted and scratched. In addition, there are hand-molded models with rough, chiseled surfaces and scalloped edges. This type of clinker suits the rustic style and works well on old, renovated buildings or those you want to give a vintage feel. Two types of clinker tiles have been specially created for renovation purposes: red MELBOURNE and reddish-brown-olive CANBERRA. These models have been visually aged, for rendering the best possible effect of aged masonry.

Design above standard
Röben's offer includes clinker bricks and tiles, in the standard NF format of 240 x 115 x 71 mm, which are eagerly used not only on building facades, but also on fences or small elements of garden architecture. In more modern buildings, where bold solutions are welcome, the new elongated LDF (290 x 115 x 52 mm) and even longer XLDF (365 x 115 x 52 mm) formats are increasingly used. The bricks offered are also available in the form of clinker tiles. The combination of clinker of different formats and the use of unusual bonds, allow an unlimited number of visual effects on the surface of the walls. Robust and durable clinker thus plays an additional decorative role here, which influences the shaping of spaces in arrangements and the creation of decorative drawing on facades. Both original interior walls and facades make the architecture created with bricks and clinker tiles unique and one-of-a-kind.

Reliable choice
Röben bricks and tiles are resistant to frost and harsh weather conditions. They are characterized by very low water absorption, which is up to 6%. Clinker also has high resistance to fire and UV radiation. In addition, ceramics are very easy to keep clean. Dirt from the surface of the bricks is removed without the need for detergents - water alone can get rid of ordinary dirt. Thus, clinker is a top-quality, durable building material that protects the building to the maximum and does not fade, which means that the product chosen in terms of quality and visual appearance will retain its properties for many years.
