Radiator - multifunctional solutions and technologies you didn't know about!

01 of September '20

Surprising multifunctionality of radiators
From the series "Heating, ventilation, air conditioning - inspiration and solutions 2020".

The primary function of the radiator is to insulate the interior, but we can find out about its additional properties in more than one example. Nowadays, radiators are multifunctional, and their wide application may surprise you! One of the many interesting solutions that radiators have been adapted to is, for example, the function of additional lighting, as confirmed by the Niagara Led model from Luxrad!

The times when the radiator was only to heat the apartment are long behind us. What's more, it is no longer necessary to hide it under the window and be ashamed of heavy, cast-iron designs - unless that's exactly what we like. The time has come for new technologies and new functions of the heater. As it turns out, in addition to its heating function, it performs well in the new tasks set by designers. Radiators can be a decoration of any apartment, whether in the living room, hallway, kitchen or bathroom. Their housings are made of a wide variety of materials, from steel and aluminum, stone, concrete, to glass or composite materials. They are created in unlimited sizes, colors and fit into any arrangement. They successfully add character to the interior, emphasize the existing arrangement or complement it.

We already know that the radiator will arrange our home and additionally heat it. And what other functions can it perform when the sun is full outside the window and we do not need heating? With the answer rushes the decorative radiator Niagara with a glass cover with graphics - a model from Luxrad, proves that a radiator and a picture in one is possible. Niagara's design consists of flat panels with rounded edges, to which a tempered glass cover with a graphic or photo is precisely attached. The radiator can be personalized by choosing any image, and then hung on the wall gaining an original decoration.

Radiator Rebus beauty made of... concrete

Often architectural concrete is used in our interiors, so the Luxrad brand went a step further and introduced the Rebus radiator. It is simple in form, playing only on the proportions, color and texture of the material. It has adequate thermal accumulation properties. Although the housing is made of architectural concrete, it keeps the weight as low as possible. It is available in vertical and horizontal versions. The brand gives you the opportunity to choose a color from three: white, gray or black. This is ideal if we like architectural concrete, but would like to use it only as a decoration for our interior.

Portal radiator - mirror depth of heating

The Portal model from Luxrad is another example of an interesting application of the radiator, which was created from a steel structure combined with a mirror, giving the effect of depth. In the mirror of the radiator is mounted LED lighting, which comes with a remote control. This allows you to set any color that is most appropriate at the time. So another function of the radiator can be an additional source of light.

Volcano - technology that gives you more heat!

The Volcano Technology, patented by the Luxrad brand, uses the principle of convection. This is the only such technology used among European manufacturers. The radiators are manufactured based on the use of tubes of two different diameters, which are welded together in the next stage. The space between the tubes is filled with water, which heats up and forms a chimney of warm air. The steel, which heats up from the inside as well as from the outside, gives an additional source of heat and increases the heating power of the device. This also translates into economic considerations. Not only can we talk about heating the room faster, but also about maintaining this state for longer.
