Novator City is a series of large-format paving slabs complementing the Novator collection. Available in thicknesses of 8, 12 and 16 cm, the slabs can successfully decorate urban squares and the space around public buildings, allowing vehicular traffic of any load.

The largest paving slabs in XL dimensions are a new solution in Poland, and their use is a major architectural challenge for the most representative zones and city squares. Geometricity, pure form and transparency are the main feature of the Novator® system and synonymous with modernity.
Wide selection of dimensions and the possibility of combining them
The variety of individual 44 formats with element sizes ranging from 20×20 cm to 60×120 cm, gives a wide range of possibilities for the investor and designer to choose the optimal dimension of cubes and slabs and the possibility to combine them. It is possible to combine several formats in one development, both in row, strip, zone and modular or random arrangements.

Flexibility in the selection of formats makes the system extremely creative, giving the possibility of shaping the grid of joints and divisions, as well as patterns of laying. The slabs have smooth surfaces and delicate micro-phase edge finishes. The color scheme of Novator® City slabs includes all available finishes in the Bruk-Bet product range and is available upon individual order in accordance with the design vision for the pavement.
Technical functionality
Different thicknesses of paving slabs of 8, 12 and 16 cm give the possibility to adapt individual formats to the nature of the pavement and to the designed load capacity. Large format slabs are designed for representative city squares and pedestrian traffic zones with delivery and loading traffic, as well as roads with limited speed up to 30 km/h.

Depending on the format and thickness, Novator® City paving slabs can be used as apassable surface for heavy technical vehicles, fire trucks and maintenance.
Traffic intensity has a major impact on the required thickness of large-format slabs. For calm and light traffic, i.e. regular use by cars and delivery trucks and occasional use by heavy vehicles, 12 cm thick slabs should be used. For medium and heavy traffic, i.e. regular use by heavy vehicles, use slabs with a length of no more than 60 cm and a thickness of 16 cm.
Novator® City - durability
Novator® City pavers carryhigher loads with smaller thicknesses. They are not subject to the limitations required for large-size slabs. All these factors should be taken into account when designing paving, as they are essential to ensure durability and correct use.
Novator series paving slabs have the additional protection of the top layer in the form of Perlon® Lamino laminated protective coating. This is an innovative refined surface, permanently bonded to the product's face layer during the manufacturing process.

Thanks to the lamination, the slabs are protected against the formation of permanent usable dirt such as engine oil or food liquids, and it is possible to wash and maintain them more easily.
