SILVA: a collection inspired by the texture and swirling grains of wood bark. Its Latin name means "wood" or "forest," and perfectly captures the character of this floor covering. The rich earth tones will transform your interior into a sanctuary of tranquility. 2tec2 wants to capture the idea of real wood flooring, so the Silva collection is available in 20 x 75 cm planks. Thus, it can be installed like planks lying parallel to each other or in a classic fir pattern.

2TEC2 bio flooring: a revolutionary innovation towards sustainability
High-tech flooring company 2TEC2 is launching its first collection of bio-based woven floors: Strata. Inspired by layers of earth from different regions of the world, the Strata collection captivates with its colors. Available in panel formats, it presents a French fir pattern, while in the form of squares we get a rhombus structure.

Intertwined with nature
The company's focus on nature is also reflected in its commitment to being a leader in innovation toward greater sustainability. Fossil fuels in the woven face layer yarn have been replaced by plant-based materials. This 45% increase in renewable resources makes the floor more environmentally friendly, while maintaining the same standards in terms of durability, technical performance and acoustics. In addition, the felt backing of the Strata collection now consists of 100% recycled PET. Both of these measures lead to a significant reduction in the use of new fossil raw materials, a huge step toward eco-flooring.

What does BIO base mean?
BIO products are derived from materials of biological origin, such as plants, excluding materials embedded in geological formations and fossil materials. The use of bio-based products leads to reduced CO₂ emissions, less toxic waste and reduced energy and water consumption in production processes.

Each collection is made of durable and environmentally friendly materials, ensuring long life and heavy commercial use. It is worth noting that the yarn from which the top layer of the carpet is made is dyed in the mass, this causes that during use the material does not show wear and looks like new for a long time.
